Bédar looked good today, with the sun shining warm rather than hot. A few people were out, wandering the streets, buying bread in the
panadería or drinking a coffee in the bars (now for some reason all located up at the beginning of the village). The recent rains seemed to have been a blessing rather than a curse, and the scorched hills are re-sprouting, just five weeks after the fires.
I think that perhaps a small quiet town without hotels or beaches or campsites has a lot to recommend itself.
